The Karlstad 2033GA is a Scandinavian-style garden lamp post from Norlys: a telescopic hot-dip galvanised steel pole ending in a curved arm, from which the lantern hangs with a flat steel hood over a clear cover. The GA version shows the raw, silver-grey surface of the zinc.
What is in the set and how it is installed
The set consists of the luminaire (art. 2031) and the pole (art. 3009). The pole is telescopic, so the height is set during installation, and the arm holds the lantern 49 cm out from the pole's axis. The base is bolted down through three Ø10.5 mm holes spaced at 120° on a 207 mm circle. No anchor is included — Norlys sells a concrete-in anchor (index 405) and a ground anchor (index 406) separately.
The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next post; the cable can be 6 to 12.5 mm in diameter. The lamp post is protection class II, so no earth conductor is needed.
Light source
The lantern has an E27 socket for an A55–A60 shaped LED lamp of up to 9 W. No bulb is included and you change it yourself — the colour and brightness of the light depend on the lamp you choose. The clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate cover does not diffuse the light, and the steel hood shields it from above, so most of it falls downward and sideways. If the cover is damaged it can be replaced — Norlys sells it as service kit 06240003.
Where it belongs
IP55 protection lets the post stand outdoors without shelter. Norlys designed it for lighting gardens and parks.
