Sandvik 795CB is an outdoor ceiling light from Norlys shaped as a plain square block with an 8 × 8 cm base and 14 cm height. The cast-aluminium body is powder-coated in copper brown, and a satin safety glass closes it underneath. Light leaves only downwards, in a narrow 25° beam.
What light it gives and which bulb to use
The fitting has a GU10 socket and comes without a light source. Norlys specifies a GU10 LED lamp in PAR16 format of up to 4 W and suggests a dimmable 250 lm / 4 W / 2700 K lamp with a 25° beam — warm light that draws a bright pool below the fitting rather than lighting a whole terrace. The bulb is replaced by the user. Nothing is emitted upwards (ULOR 0%, BUG rating B0-U0-G0), so no light is scattered into the sky.
Installation and where it suits
The fitting is screwed to the ceiling through two ø4.5 mm holes 68 × 68 mm apart. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², the round-sheathed cable must be 7–10.5 mm in diameter, and further fittings can be looped through with cable up to 3 × 1.5 mm² — several points over a covered terrace need only one line. It weighs 0.59 kg.
IP54 protection means it is protected against splashing water from any direction, so it suits eaves, a terrace roof or a gazebo. IK08 impact resistance protects the glass, and protection class I requires an earth conductor.
