Sigma LUNA M wall light black/wenge plywood LED 7W 40864

Sigma LUNA M 40864 – a wall light with dark wenge grain

LUNA M 40864 combines a disciplined circular outline with the contrast of timber and black. Its upper semicircle displays a pronounced dark-brown plywood grain in a wenge finish, while the lower section is matte black. A narrow horizontal opening separates the two planes. The fitting therefore reads as a decorative panel and can anchor an empty wall above a console, beside an armchair or next to a bed.

Warm light brings out the surface

The integrated 7 W LED module provides 3000 K light at approximately 350 lm. Hidden behind the face, it creates a bright line where the semicircles meet and a broader reflection above the timber arc. The warm tone complements the brown grain and forms a calm evening accent. This is primarily atmospheric, supplementary illumination rather than a substitute for the room’s main light.

Placement and installation

The dark timber effect works with walnut furniture, black profiles, graphite surfaces and warm textiles. Its shallow depth also suits a hallway. Leave clear wall space above the fitting, as this is where the broad reflected glow becomes visible. Installation should provide secure support and suitable access to the electrical connection through the intended bracket.
