STEINEL HF 360-2 COM1 ST064440 is a white, surface-mounted presence detector from the Control PRO 2 range. It is designed for ceiling installation indoors and uses high-frequency technology to detect presence through a full 360° angle. The COM1 version is intended to switch a circuit on and off.

Size and mounting location

The housing measures 123 × 123 × 57 mm, so the available ceiling area should be checked against its footprint before installation. The manufacturer specifies surface wiring on the ceiling, a maximum mounting height of 4 m and an optimum height of 2.8 m. Intended indoor locations include stairwells, toilet facilities with cubicles, kitchenettes and ancillary rooms.

Detection and adjustment

Both radial and tangential reach extend to Ø 12 m, or 113 m² according to STEINEL. HF detection can also detect presence through glass, wood and stud walls; this should be considered in relation to neighbouring zones. Adjustment and interconnection are carried out via Bluetooth. The twilight threshold is adjustable from 2 to 2000 lx and the time setting from 10 seconds to 60 minutes.

Electrical specification

This model operates from 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz. Its plastic housing is rated IP54. The resistive switching output is rated up to 2000 W; the connected circuit must be selected in accordance with the documentation and installation requirements.
