Stockholm 1433BL Bollard Light Black + Wood 49 cm E27 NORLYS

Stockholm 1433BL is a bollard light 49 cm high with a 17 × 17 cm footprint. The shaft is impregnated Scandinavian pine, while the head and base are hot-dip galvanised steel powder-coated black (RAL 9005). An opal PMMA diffuser sits inside a steel cage of horizontal rings.

What kind of light it gives

The bollard lights all round, evenly in every direction, and the opal diffuser softens the light and hides the shape of the bulb. According to the manufacturer nearly half of the light (ULOR 49.8%) goes upwards, so the bollard marks a path or a border rather than lighting the ground beneath it.

The fitting has an E27 socket and takes an A55–A60 LED bulb of up to 9 W, i.e. a standard pear shape. No bulb is included, and it is replaced by the user.

Mounting

The bollard is fixed through three ø9 mm holes at 120° on a ø65 mm circle. A concreting anchor, a ground anchor and a concrete-foundation adapter are ordered separately to suit the ground. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow the next bollard to be looped through with cable up to 3 × 1.5 mm², so several bollards along a path run on one cable; the gland takes cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter.

Durability

IP65 means the fitting is dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK10 is the highest impact rating (20 J), which matters beside a driveway or path where a bollard is easily knocked. It is protection class II, so no protective earth conductor is needed. It weighs 5.35 kg. The diffuser and gasket are available from the manufacturer as spare parts.
