Trysil 1084AL is a 4 m integrated lighting pole from Norlys: a rectangular extruded-aluminium profile, powder-coated light grey RAL 9006, finished with a single arm carrying an LED luminaire. The light leaves through a clear textured UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser, diffused in a downward half-sphere. Norlys intends it for private grounds and architectural schemes.
Dimensions, weight and installation
The pole is 400 cm tall and occupies 71 × 24 cm in plan. It weighs 24 kg net and arrives in a 44 × 38 × 232 cm carton weighing 26.5 kg — worth planning for at delivery and when carrying it onto the property. It is installed according to the supplied instructions, and further mounting accessories are bought separately. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm², the round-sheathed cable may be up to 12.5 mm in diameter, and further poles can be looped through with cable up to 3 × 2.5 mm², so several along a path run from one supply line.
How much light it gives
Two Cree LED modules draw 17 W in total. 1667 lm of light leaves the luminaire at 3000 K, a warm white, with CRI 80. Nothing is emitted upwards (ULOR 0%), so no light is scattered into the sky or into neighbours' windows. The pole is phase-dimmable with both trailing-edge (TE) and leading-edge (LE) dimmers.
The LED modules and driver are replaced by a professional service (service kit ZS1084zx0009). Norlys rates the modules at L80 102,000 h and the driver at 50,000 h — the driver is usually the first part to need replacing.
Built for outdoor use
IP65 means fully dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK10 impact resistance is the top of that scale, useful for a pole beside a driveway or car park. The pole is protection class I and must be connected to an earth conductor; installation is for a qualified electrician.
