The double Arden LED wall light by Alora Mood lights the wall upwards and downwards at once. Its matt black stem carries two ribbed sections wrapped in walnut veneer, ending in two opal glass globes under black perforated half-domes. It is supplied by Elstead Lighting.
Height, projection and mounting
Only 15.2 cm wide, the fitting stands a full 57.2 cm tall, so it needs a clear strip of wall — above a door or under a low sloping ceiling, check that dimension before installing. It projects 17.8 cm and weighs 0.86 kg; the mounting rose sits at mid-height.
It is Class II: double insulated, with no earth conductor.
Light in two directions
Both globes contain built-in LED modules drawing about 13 W together. At 3000 K the light is a warm white, and CRI 93 means colours — including the warm tone of the walnut — look natural. The upper globe washes the wall and ceiling, the lower one the wall below, so instead of a single pool you get a vertical beam in both directions.
The source is not changed like a bulb — it is part of the fitting. The manufacturer states that it is dimmable.
Black, walnut and style
The body is aluminium and steel. The manufacturer describes the pairing of matt black and wood veneer as an industrial note, while the form — one line and two globes — keeps to modernist simplicity. The half-domes can be fitted or left off to expose the globes. It is intended for hallways and corridors, bedrooms, kitchens and dining rooms.
