Asker Pole Pro 1361AL LED garden pole light, 216 cm, 8 W, 3000 K, light grey RAL 9006 – NORLYS

The Asker Pole Pro 1361AL is a pole light with an integrated luminaire: a slim two-segment column of extruded aluminium, powder-coated light grey (RAL 9006), topped by a horizontal arm carrying the LED head. It stands 216 cm tall and the arm reaches 39 cm out from the column.

How it lights a path

Under the arm sits a Ledil VSM lens with an IESNA type V distribution – symmetrical and wide – so the pool of light spreads evenly around the column. Norlys intends the light for paths, pavements, private grounds and parks. Only 0.87% of the light goes upwards (BUG rating B1-U1-G1), so it hardly lights the sky or the windows above it.

The 3000 K colour temperature is a warm white. A colour rendering index of Ra 70 is enough for lighting a route, but it does not render colours as faithfully as indoor fittings. The light is not dimmable; it works on/off.

Installation and wiring

The column stands on a 24 cm base plate with four ø12 mm holes on a 200 × 200 mm pattern. The ground anchor (117GA0009) or the concrete anchor (116ZX0009) is not included and has to be ordered separately. The light weighs 10.54 kg, and its lateral surface of 0.232 m² is the figure that determines wind load when the foundation is chosen.

The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm², and the lights can be looped through with the same cross-section, so a row of them along a path runs from a single supply line. Norlys states how many fit on one circuit breaker: B 10 A – 31, B 16 A – 50, C 10 A – 52, C 16 A – 85.

Durability and servicing

The lamp chamber and the connection chamber are rated IP65, and the optical unit with the LED module and lens IP67. Impact resistance is IK08. It is a protection class I luminaire and must be connected to the protective earth.

Power consumption is 8 W. The Philips Fortimo LED module has a lifetime of over 100,000 hours (L90B10), and Norlys quotes the same for the driver. The module and driver are replaced by a professional service using kit ZS1361zx0010.
