Norlys Asker Small Pro 5160AL outdoor wall light, light grey RAL 9006, LED 9.9 W 4000 K, up and down light, DALI2

Norlys Asker Small Pro 5160AL is a light grey RAL 9006 outdoor wall light with a simple horizontal body. Two illuminated surfaces direct neutral white 4000 K light upwards and downwards along the wall. LED modules and a driver with DALI2 control are built into the fitting.

Light above and below the body

The complete luminaire delivers 901 lm while consuming 9.9 W. Use that delivered output when planning façade lighting, rather than the light output of the LED modules on their own. The two lighting directions highlight the wall both above and below the fitting.

At 4000 K, the light has a neutral white appearance. Coordinate it with other lighting near an entrance, balcony or boundary wall to avoid an unintended difference in colour between adjacent fittings. Choose the spacing of several wall lights with regard to the size of the surface and the other lighting serving the area.

Light grey aluminium and a shallow projection

The cast aluminium body has a powder-coated finish. AL describes the light grey RAL 9006 coating here. The clear polycarbonate covers have a structured surface and UV stabilisation, enclosing the modules on the upper and lower sides of the body. Overall dimensions are 22.5 cm wide and 11 cm high, with an 8.5 cm projection from the wall.

Compare those measurements with the space beside a door, corner or passage before installation. IP65 means dust-tight protection and resistance to water jets for use on an exterior wall. A silicone gasket and EPDM cable gland form part of the fitting's construction.

Control and installation planning

Adjusting the light level requires a compatible DALI2 system. Agree the control arrangement before preparing the wiring, since it is not determined by an ordinary wall switch alone. The LED modules and driver are included; both can be replaced by a professional service technician. No separate bulb needs to be purchased.

This class I fitting requires a protective earth connection. The manufacturer specifies two Ø4.5 mm mounting holes and a spacing pattern of 180 × 60 mm. Follow the installation instructions for fixing and electrical connections, maintaining the seal at the cable entry.
