Bollard light NORLYS Astrid 2210WH white LED 10.6 W 2700 K 85 cm IP65 DALI-2

Astrid 2210WH is an 85 cm bollard light made from an extruded aluminium profile with a rounded-square 14 × 14 cm cross-section and vertical fluting along its full length, powder-coated white. In the upper part, behind the fluted profile, sits an opal PMMA diffuser through which the integrated LED module shines.

What light it gives

The OSRAM LED module produces 1372 lm, but through the opal diffuser and fluted shell 247 lm leave the luminaire at 10.6 W. This is a bollard that glows softly and diffusely – it marks the edge of a path, an entrance or a flower bed rather than lighting a whole driveway. Half of the light goes upwards (ULOR 50%), so it also brightens the surroundings above it.

2700 K is warm, slightly yellowish light close to a traditional incandescent bulb, with colour rendering of CRI 80. The manufacturer describes the bollard as a luminaire of modern design.

DALI-2 control and power supply

The driver works in a DALI-2 system: brightness is controlled over the DALI bus, so the installation needs a DALI controller – an ordinary phase dimmer is not intended for this luminaire. The manufacturer states how many bollards fit on one circuit breaker: 46 on B 10 A, 74 on B 16 A or C 10 A, and 119 on C 16 A.

The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service; the manufacturer lists service kit ZN2210xx0009 for this model. Module lifetime is given as L80B50 over 70,000 h and driver lifetime as 100,000 h.

Installation and what else to buy

The base has three ø9 mm holes at 120° on a ø65 mm circle. Anchoring parts are sold separately: concrete-in anchor 205, ground anchor 206, concrete foundation adapter 206S and mounting adapter 3080GA. The bollard weighs 6.24 kg.

The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow further bollards to be looped through at the same cross-section – a row along a path runs on one supply line. The gland takes round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter. The light is protection class I and needs a protective earth; IP65 and IK10 impact resistance let it stand unprotected, including beside a footpath.
