LED Labs PROFI 16-2037-04 COB LED strip, 24 V, 4000 K, 10 W/m, IP67, 5 m

The LED Labs PROFI 16-2037-04 is a five-metre COB LED strip emitting fixed neutral-white light at 4000 K. A continuous phosphor band produces a line of light rather than a row of clearly separated points, making this version relevant when planning continuous illumination. This is the IP67 variant powered by 24 V DC, not a strip for direct connection to the mains.

Check the finished strip width

The reel is 5 m long, but fitting it into a channel also requires checking its overall width of 12 mm. The PCB alone is 10 mm wide. When selecting an LED profile, compare the available space with the finished strip rather than just the circuit board. The manufacturer specifies a 45 mm cutting section, so the intended installation length must accommodate the marked cutting positions.

Neutral white for worktops and displays

The 4000 K colour temperature is fixed: this is not a tunable-white strip that switches between warm and cool light. A CRI of 90 is a useful consideration when the colour appearance of illuminated objects matters. The rated output of 900 lm/m allows comparison with other strips of the same length. Light reaching a surface will also depend on the strip position and any cover used.

The manufacturer identifies kitchen worktops, shop windows, retail displays and LED luminaire construction among its applications. Its linear form also supports lighting shelves and wardrobe installations where the strip physically fits. It is a lighting component rather than a standalone decorative fitting; the visible style comes from how it is integrated into the surrounding installation.

Power supply and exposure to moisture

A power supply with a 24 V DC output is required. Its capacity must suit the installed length and the strip's consumption of 10 W/m. The full reel requires 50 W, which must be considered when selecting the supply. Dimming requires a suitable compatible dimmer rather than an arbitrary lighting control.

The IP67 rating and the manufacturer's stated terrace and garden uses allow this version to be considered for outdoor installations as well. The strip's protection rating does not establish the protection of the power supply or completed connections. The manufacturer specifies a three-year warranty for this variant.
