LED Labs PROFI 16-2300-01 COB LED strip, 24 V, 3000 K, 10 W/m, 5 m

LED Labs PROFI 16-2300-01 is a five-metre COB LED strip producing warm white light at 3000 K. Its narrow strip and continuous luminous surface are intended for building linear lighting, rather than replacing a complete luminaire with its own power supply. This version operates on 24 V DC and has a colour rendering index of CRI 90.

A continuous line in a shallow profile

COB technology allows a uniform line of light even in low LED profiles. This matters where the luminous surface remains visible and separate LED points would interrupt the outline of furniture or a built-in installation. Its contemporary character comes from the linear lighting format, not from a decorative lamp body.

The 3000 K rating describes the warm white light colour; CRI 90 separately describes colour rendering on illuminated objects. Output of 900 lm per metre provides a basis for comparing this strip with alternatives of the same length. The amount of light reaching a particular surface also depends on the strip's position and the construction of the chosen installation.

Check width and cutting intervals

The roll is 5 m long and its PCB is 10 mm wide. Compare that width with the usable mounting space inside any proposed profile before selecting it. The cutting interval is 45 mm. Plan sections around the marked cutting positions rather than assuming that any arbitrary recess or furniture edge can be matched exactly.

Power and installation choices

A suitably specified 24 V DC power supply is required. Allow for the stated consumption of 10 W per metre together with the length of connected sections when designing the supply. The strip must not be connected directly to mains voltage. According to the manufacturer's product information sheet, dimming is possible only with suitable specific dimmers.

The linear format can be used for furniture, shelves and kitchen units, as well as lighting schemes in residential and commercial interiors. IP20 does not provide protection against water; the bare strip is not a solution for wet zones or outdoor installation. Power supply, profile and controls remain choices to make as part of the complete lighting design.
