LED Labs PROFI 16-2433-01 is a five-metre roll of single-colour LED strip with a warm-white colour temperature of 3500 K. SMD 2835 LEDs sit on a narrow white board; the roll contains 720 LEDs, equivalent to 144 per metre. It is a component for building linear lighting in a profile, rather than a finished light that plugs directly into a mains socket.
Choosing the light for furniture and interior accents
The 3500 K colour is warm white, but it differs from the 2700 K, 3000 K and 4000 K versions in the same family. When extending an existing installation, compare colour-temperature markings rather than relying on the series name alone. A CRI of 90 describes colour rendering, a useful consideration when illuminating objects and furniture surfaces.
The manufacturer specifies 1200 lumens per metre. This allows comparisons between equal lengths of strip, but does not by itself establish how bright a worktop will be. Position and the chosen profile also affect the result. The strip can be considered for under-cabinet kitchen lighting, wardrobe lighting and accents on shelves or fitted furniture in living rooms and bedrooms. It has no decorative housing of its own: the way it is installed determines the appearance of the finished light line.
Plan the length and low-voltage supply
The PCB is 10 mm wide, and the manufacturer lists a cutting section of 62 mm. Check the available strip space in the profile and plan the required length around the marked cutting points. Double-sided Blue Tape mounting tape is intended for attachment inside a cleaned profile; it does not remove the need to check dimensions.
The strip requires 24 V DC power and consumes 6 W per metre. Select the supply for the length actually installed, with the reserve recommended by the manufacturer. Do not connect it directly to mains voltage. This IP20 version has no additional sealing for locations requiring increased moisture resistance, so it should not be treated as a sealed strip when planning the installation.
