The MOLDE 2029AL outdoor wall lamp by NORLYS is a modern luminaire with an integrated PIR motion sensor, designed for facades, terraces and entrance areas. Its characteristic shape, slightly flaring towards the bottom, directs light straight onto the ground, creating a soft pool of light beneath a transparent textured polycarbonate cover. The die-cast aluminium body in an aluminium finish combines durability with a clean, architectural look.
Key features
The built-in, energy-efficient LED module with a power of 8 W emits neutral light at 4000 K and a luminous flux of 438 lm, rendering colours faithfully (CRI 80) and providing clear visibility in areas of movement. The integrated PIR sensor with a dusk switch and hold-on function automatically switches the light on when it detects presence and turns it off after a set time – a convenient and economical solution for everyday use.
Protection and installation
The IP54 rating and IK07 impact resistance class guarantee reliable operation in outdoor conditions, including locations exposed to dust and splashing water. The luminaire has a power factor of PF 0.95 and a low distortion level of THD 30%, while its aluminium housing dissipates heat effectively.
Installation is done on the facade surface using two holes of 6 mm diameter with 90 mm spacing. The 230 V supply and conductors up to 3 x 2.5 mm² allow easy wiring and chaining of multiple luminaires. Once installed, the lamp works automatically without the need to replace the light source.
Application
The minimalist, modern form works beautifully at the entrance to a house, on stairways, terraces, in garden recreation zones, and along paths and driveways. Thanks to the motion sensor, it suits both private spaces and commercial settings such as hotels, restaurants or office buildings where safety and convenience matter.
