MOSS 6346AL is a Norlys wall-recessed light with a round aluminium-coloured front and a clear safety-glass cover. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium, and the integrated LED module gives a symmetrical 36° beam whose direction can be adjusted after installation.
How it is installed
The light fits into a round opening of about 110 mm diameter. According to the installation manual the clamps grip a wall or panel 0.5 to 40 mm thick and need at least 90 mm of free space behind it, so check both dimensions on site before cutting the opening.
A 0.3 m H05RN-F 3G1 cable comes out of the fitting and is connected to the supply in a suitable junction box. Norlys sells its own junction box (index 145) separately. The light is protection class I, so the PE protective conductor must be connected. Once installed, the head tilts by ±20° to aim the beam exactly where the light should fall.
How much light, and what kind
The module draws 4.2 W and the fitting gives 382 lm at 3000 K, which is warm white. This is accent light rather than lighting for a whole plot: according to the manufacturer's photometric data the beam makes a pool about 1.45 m across from 2 m away and about 2.2 m across from 3 m. The colour rendering index is Ra 80.
The light can be dimmed with a phase dimmer, and Norlys allows both types: trailing edge (TE) and leading edge (LE). The light source is integrated and included.
Durability and intended use
IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction, so the light can work outdoors without cover. Impact resistance is IK06. Norlys intends it for lighting gardens, private grounds and architectural details, and in our catalogue it is assigned to facades and fences. The same Moss 6346 is also made in black, graphite and a stainless-steel version.
