Stockholm 284BL is a low portal-style bollard light 34.5 cm tall, made of steel with a black powder coat (RAL 9005). Horizontal steel rings surround the clear PMMA diffuser, and a flat roof 27 cm in diameter caps it. The manufacturer describes the design as Scandinavian and intends the light for gardens and terraces.
Where it stands
The bollard is bolted down with the supplied mounting anchor — two ø7 mm holes 90 mm apart — onto the ground, a low wall, a platform or another structure. At 34.5 cm tall with a 27 cm roof, it is a light for the top of a wall, the edge of a terrace or a flight of steps, not for lighting a long path from height. It weighs 2.5 kg.
The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and the round cable can be up to 12 mm in diameter. The fitting is protection class II, so it needs no protective earth. IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any direction, enough for use in the open.
What light it gives
The fitting has an E27 socket and takes an A55–A60 shaped LED lamp of up to 9 W. No lamp is included, so brightness and colour are decided by the bulb you choose; the user replaces it. The A55–A60 shape is a size limit — a wider globe or a long candle lamp will not fit inside the diffuser.
The diffuser is clear, and light leaves to the sides and partly upwards: ULOR 41.74% means more than 40% of the output goes above the level of the fitting. The rings partly shade the bulb, but it stays visible through the clear diffuser.
Spare parts
The manufacturer lists two service parts for this light: diffuser kit 06280007 and gasket 08280014. A cracked diffuser or a hardened gasket can therefore be replaced without buying the whole lamp.
