Trysil 1026AL is a 350 cm lighting column with two arms opening into a Y shape — the arm span is 118 cm. The column and heads are extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated in an aluminium finish (RAL 9006). Light leaves through the underside, via clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffusers. The manufacturer describes the design as contemporary and intends the column for gardens and private grounds.
How much light, and what kind
Four LED modules deliver a combined 3901 lm at 40 W, or 97.5 lm/W. The light is diffused and aimed downwards, and ULOR 0.4% means only a negligible share goes into the sky. 3000 K is warm white, CRI 80 is enough to tell colours apart on a driveway or an avenue, and SDCM3 keeps the tint consistent across several columns. The manufacturer calculated the light distribution for a 3.5 m mounting height over a 22 m field, a starting point for planning column spacing.
The driver supports DALI2 control — dimming and scenes need a DALI bus and a controller; an ordinary phase dimmer will not work here.
Installation
The column is installed following the enclosed instructions, and any other mounting accessories are bought separately. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm², or up to 5 × 2.5 mm² when columns are looped; the round cable can be up to 13.6 mm in diameter. It is protection class I, so it needs a protective earth. Inrush current is 10 A for 50 µs — a figure that matters when sizing the breaker for several columns on one circuit. The column weighs 25.7 kg. The manufacturer requires installation and servicing by a suitably authorised person.
Durability and service
IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, and IK10 resistance to a 20 J impact, which counts for a column standing by a driveway. The LED modules keep 80% of their output after 102,000 h (L80) and 90% after 52,600 h (L90). Modules and driver are replaced by a professional service; the manufacturer lists service kit ZS1038zx0009 for this range.
