MOLDE 2026AL is an outdoor wall light measuring 30 × 23 × 11 cm — powder-coated cast aluminium in aluminium RAL 9006, with a lens of transparent structured polycarbonate, UV stabilised. The same model in graphite RAL 7016 carries the index 2026GR.

Light closed off at the top

Norlys describes the characteristic as "diffused light, covered from the top", and ULOR is 2% — practically nothing escapes to the sky. The BUG classification is B0-U1-G0: no glare and no spill towards a neighbour. On a façade that gives a wash of light on the wall and the path rather than a point that hurts to look at.

Why the module is 743 lm and the fitting 386 lm

The product card gives two figures. The LED module alone produces 743 lumens at 92.9 lm/W; what leaves the luminaire is 386 lm, or 48.3 lm/W. The difference goes into the top shield and the structured lens — the price of no glare and no sky glow, not a fault. The catalogue carries the luminaire figure: the one that actually lights the entrance.

Dims from an ordinary dimmer

The fitting supports TRIAC phase dimming on both edges — trailing (TE) and leading (LE), so an ordinary wall dimmer is enough. Inrush current is 35 mA for 60 ms and THD is 30%; with a dozen or more fittings on one circuit both are worth allowing for. The terminals take up to 3 × 2.5 mm², 3 × 1.5 mm² looped through, and the gland a cable of 6–10 mm diameter — so a run of wall lights can be fed in series.

Mounting and service life

The fitting is fixed with two screws through ø6 mm holes at 90 mm spacing; the manufacturer notes that other accessories must be purchased separately. IP54 guards against dust and splashing water from any direction, IK07 is 2 J of impact resistance, and protection class I requires an earth conductor. The operating range is −20…+45 °C, the photobiological risk group RG0/RG1, and the declared life over 55,000 hours to L70 — roughly 50 years at three hours a day.

Made-to-order variants

Norlys also builds this model in 2700 K and in any RAL colour. It states explicitly, though, that no other height is possible — the 2026 comes in this one size only. The service set is ZS2026zx0009.
