LOOK is a narrow black cylinder just 6 centimetres across and 40 cm tall, hung on a fabric-covered cable. It takes up almost no visual space yet draws a clear vertical line — which is why it works on its own above a bedside table and even better in a row over a kitchen counter or dining table.

Light and where it works

Inside is a single GU10 socket taking up to 28 W, and a bulb comes in the box, so the lamp can be hung and switched on straight away. The narrow body channels the light downwards in a tight beam, lighting a specific spot rather than washing the whole room. This is accent and task light: over an island, beside an armchair, above a picture. The fixture is not dimmable.

Build and installation

Body and ceiling rose are metal in matt black. The drop is set during installation anywhere between 66 and 240 cm, so it suits both a low side table and a room with a high ceiling. The rose is only 6 cm across, so hanging several side by side keeps the ceiling uncluttered. Protection class II, IP20 — for dry interiors.
