Skara 2958AL is an 85 cm bollard made from a rectangular extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated in aluminium colour (RAL 9006). An angled head at the top carries the LED module, and the body holds two SCHUKO sockets – a garden light and a power point in one.
Sockets and power in one bollard
The two type F (SCHUKO) 16 A sockets take up to 3600 W from one socket, or 1800 W from each when both are used. Garden equipment plugs in right at the bollard, with no extension lead run from the house – compare the figure with the rating of whatever you plan to power here.
The terminals accept cable up to 5 × 2.5 mm² with a diameter of up to 12.5 mm and allow loop-through wiring, so several bollards along one path can be fed by a single cable.
How much light and what kind
The luminaire draws 7.7 W and delivers 617 lm at 4000 K, a neutral white in which planting and paving look natural. The Ledil VSM lens spreads light symmetrically all round (IESNA Type V), lighting a circle around the bollard, and only 1.94% of the output goes upwards – no light into windows or the night sky.
Control is DALI2: brightness is set from a DALI controller, not an ordinary wall dimmer, so this version is meant for installations with a DALI bus. The LED is built in; the LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service.
Installation and durability
The base fixes with four bolts through ø7 mm holes on a 64 × 64 mm pattern. The concrete anchor (item 2934) and other accessories are sold separately. The housing is IP54 with IK08 impact resistance. The bollard weighs 6 kg; connection should be done by a qualified electrician.
The plain, square-edged form without ornament suits modern and Scandinavian-style terraces and gardens.
