TARREGA is a round wall light made of two halves. The upper one is a disc of black marble with pale veining, the lower one a domed, colourless pane with an irregular, bubbled texture. A narrow gold-toned metal strip runs across the middle and separates them.
How big it is and where to hang it
The fitting is 16.8 cm tall and 15.8 cm wide, roughly the span of an open hand — the figure to compare with the free patch of wall you have in mind. Only the lower half lights up, so the light runs down the wall while the marble top stays dark.
How much light it gives
The source is built in for good: a 7 W LED module putting out 431 lm at 3000 K, run from 230 V mains. 3000 K is a warm white, and 431 lm sits in the mood-lighting range — TARREGA lifts a patch of wall and works as a decorative object, not as lighting for a whole room.
The LED module is integrated into the fitting, so the source is not swapped the way a bulb is. There is no separate lamp to buy either — the light works as soon as it is wired in.
Marble, glass and mounting in a bathroom
The manufacturer names three materials: marble, metal and glass. Marble is a natural stone, so the pattern of the veins falls differently on every piece than it does in the photograph. The glass half is not smooth — its rippled, bubbled surface breaks the light into uneven highlights, which the photographs of the lit fitting show.
The IP44 rating means protection against splashing water from any direction, so the light can hang in a bathroom outside the zone that takes the direct spray from a shower or a bath.
