TACORO LE46164 is a wall light shaped as an upright oval: a fluted, milky glass panel 70 cm tall carrying a narrow strip of matte black steel that runs along almost its whole length. The LED sits in the edge of that strip and shines through a narrow slot, so the light lands on the glass first and spreads onto the wall from there.
Size and how far it stands off the wall
The glass panel measures 70 cm high and 14 cm wide, the black strip down the middle 6 cm wide and 58 cm long. At that proportion the fitting reads as a vertical line rather than a point of light, so it wants a tall and largely empty stretch of wall.
It stands 6.5 cm out from the wall — that is how far it reaches into the room, a figure to hold against the width of a passage or the distance to a door frame. The TACORO family runs to ten variants, LE46155 through LE46164, and the manufacturer describes this one as the largest of them.
How much light it gives, and what kind
The built-in LED module draws 16 W and delivers 824 lm — roughly what a former 60 W bulb gave. That is a lot for a wall light: TACORO can work as the room's own light in the evening rather than only as an accent beside another lamp.
The light colour is 3000 K, warm white with a faintly yellow cast, close to a classic incandescent. The source is integrated: there is no socket and no lamp to screw in, so nothing needs buying alongside it, but at the end of its life the whole fitting is replaced rather than the source.
What it is made of
Two materials make up the build: matte black painted steel in the central strip and glass in the oval panel. The glass is fluted with vertical ribs that break up the point of light — the panel shows a softened band of light instead of a sharp reflection of the LEDs.
The fitting has one light point and runs straight off the 230 V mains, with no separate driver to hide inside the wall. The black strip is the only part that stands proud of the panel, so once mounted the light sits against the wall across the whole face of the glass.
