CustomForm WALT METAL 50 Coffee Table - Gold

WALT METAL 50 is a square coffee table made entirely of metal: a 50 × 50 cm top at 45 cm high, four slim legs of square section and a perimeter frame joining them at the bottom. The top is a sheet with its edges folded down, which keeps its profile thin. The finish is a gold shade the manufacturer identifies with the code RAL 1111.

How big it is and where it goes

The top measures 50 × 50 cm — room for mugs, a remote and a book, not for a laid place setting. The 45 cm height falls within the usual range of a seat height (44–47 cm), so things on the top are within reach from the sofa without leaning forward.

The square body takes up little floor space and slides into a corner or right beside the arm of a chair. When planning where it goes, add the passage next to it: with 80 cm of clear walkway, the 50 cm top needs 130 cm of width in total.

Construction and finish

Every part is metal — top, legs and lower frame. The frame runs around the perimeter just above the floor and ties the legs together, so the base reads as a distinct square set in from the edge of the top. The legs are square in section and slim, which keeps the table looking light despite the metal construction.

The surface has a matt, lightly grained finish in gold; a close-up shows the fold of the sheet along the edge of the top, which takes the place of a separate apron.

Walt is a collection of metal coffee tables and a console built on the same symmetrical structure.
