Aldex Form mustard yellow table lamp 40 cm E27 1108B14

Aldex Form 1108B14 is a mustard yellow metal table lamp with a conical shade suspended beneath a horizontal arm. A slender upright, a pronounced right angle and a circular base create its open geometric outline. The frame and shade exterior share the yellow finish, while the inside of the shade is white.

Allowing space on a desk or bedside table

The lamp measures 40 cm high, 22 cm wide and 23 cm deep. Compare both horizontal measurements with the available space on your desk or bedside table before choosing its position. The narrow upright does not represent the footprint of the complete fitting: the base and projecting shade also need to be taken into account.

The shade itself is 16 cm in diameter and 14 cm high. Its widening lower edge contrasts with the straight lines of the support. This combination remains visually distinct on a sideboard or occasional table even when the lamp is switched off.

One replaceable E27 light source

Form takes one light source with an E27 cap, a fitting also confirmed in the manufacturer's instructions. The smaller E14 cap is not suitable for this model. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the light source selected, rather than on the mustard colour of the metalwork.

The metal shade screens the source from the sides and leaves the bottom open. This directs light towards the surface below instead of sending it out in all directions like a glass globe. For reading, position the lamp in relation to the book and your seated position.

Colour within a modern interior

The cone, circle and right-angled frame support the modern, modernist character of the Form collection. Use this yellow version as a defined colour accent on a study desk, bedside table or living-room side table. On a dining-room sideboard it provides supplementary light, rather than replacing a fitting intended to illuminate the whole dining table.
