Garden spike spotlight TORREJON Luces Exclusivas LE71457, grey, GU10

TORREJON LE71457 by Luces Exclusivas is a grey garden spike spotlight, rather than a bollard spreading light around an upright post. Its cylindrical head sits in an open bracket, with an extended hood above the glass front. Aluminium, glass and unadorned detailing give it a functional appearance suited to modern garden layouts.

A spike rather than a standing base

The product photograph shows a pointed spike for insertion into the ground. Allow for this mounting format when choosing a position in a planted bed: this is not a freestanding light with a broad foot. The manufacturer specifies a height of 20 cm, a width of 11 cm and a diameter of 11 cm. Compare these dimensions with the space around your planting, without assuming a cable length from the size of the fitting.

Choose the GU10 light source separately

The fitting takes one GU10 light source rated at no more than 7 W and operates at 230 V. No bulb is supplied. Light colour, brightness and beam angle therefore depend on the compatible source you select; the fitting's maximum wattage does not establish those characteristics.

Its stated outdoor use and IP54 rating support use as a garden or plant accent light. IP54 does not mean that it can be submerged. The grey cylindrical body, circular front and simple bracket suit restrained contemporary landscaping where the planting, rather than a tall decorative lighting post, is intended to be the focal point.
