Théo Bébé HERMIONE Neige white nursery chest of drawers with rattan, 95 cm

Théo Bébé HERMIONE Neige is a white nursery chest with natural rattan panels on its drawer fronts. Turned legs with three grooves and brass handles give it a Louis XVI-inspired outline. The square weave remains visible within the white frames rather than disappearing under an all-over painted finish.

Four drawers and room to open them

Two smaller drawers sit side by side above two wide drawers. This arrangement lets you separate smaller nursery items from larger belongings instead of using one undivided storage space. All four drawers have soft closing. This is drawer storage, not a cupboard with doors or a unit with open shelves.

The external dimensions are 95 × 52 × 86 cm, stated as length, width and height. When checking its position in the room, allow space in front for the drawers to pull out, as well as the footprint of the chest itself. The 86 cm height describes the chest without an added changing box.

The changing box is an optional extra

The manufacturer offers the Hermione & Lafayette changing box as a separate option. It can be positioned lengthways or crossways on the chest. It is an additional component, not a built-in feature of the top and not simply a changing mat. Photographs showing the changing box illustrate a possible configuration rather than the contents of the basic chest. Consider the chosen orientation when planning a changing area.

Materials, assembly and cleaning

Solid wood and MDF form the construction, with natural rattan on the drawer fronts. The handles are brass and the screws are stainless steel. The paints and varnishes are water-based. This combination matters if you are comparing materials: the chest is neither entirely rattan nor entirely solid wood.

The furniture arrives flat-packed, with instructions and an assembly key specified by the manufacturer. Water and soap are the stated cleaning method. Its white finish, woven fronts and golden-toned details suit a traditionally styled nursery where the texture of the rattan is intended to remain part of the furniture's appearance.
