This is not an ordinary luminaire – 19152 is a system base with a built-in LED light, made for the 24 V Plug & Play architectural system from the Greek brand Zambelis. It does two jobs at once: it mounts and feeds the system's elements, and it puts out 3 W of light itself.
How Plug & Play works
The system runs on safe 24 V and connects with jack plugs – hence the name. There are no screwed terminals and no junction boxes: parts plug into one another. The same base takes, among other things, the linear LED tubes of this family (codes 19158–19166, from 27 to 157 cm and 4 to 30 W). The base can go on a wall or surface-mounted on any face.
The light
The built-in LED module gives 285 lm from 3 W in a warm 3000 K, with colour rendering CRI 80. That is an amount of light for accent or orientation – lighting a recess, a shelf, the start of a run – not general room lighting. Dimming is optional and depends on the driver used: the manufacturer allows On-Off or TRIAC control.
Build
An aluminium body in a sandy black finish (the white sister version is code 19151), with a polycarbonate diffuser that gives an even, soft output with no visible dots. Dimensions: ø10 cm and 7.6 cm high. IP20 – dry interiors only. Safety class III follows directly from the 24 V supply: it is extra-low voltage, so the base itself needs no earth; the system driver is a separate item.
What the manufacturer does not state
On the data sheet the fields for beam angle, UGR, energy efficiency class and indicative lifetime are all marked "N/A" – they are not specified for this product. Worth knowing if your project needs those figures in its documentation. The warranty is 5 years.
