Lighting column Norlys Trysil 1059BL black LED 8.7 W 4000 K DALI2 263 cm

TRYSIL 1059BL is a complete lighting column 263 cm tall with a single arm reaching 71 cm. The structure is an extruded aluminium profile powder-coated black, and the diffuser is UV-stabilised clear polycarbonate. The LED module is built permanently into the head.

What it weighs and what the foundation needs

Luminaire and column together weigh 17.2 kg net, and the 44 × 38 × 232 cm package weighs 19.3 kg. Both the weight and the length are worth checking before transport: the column will not go in a car boot.

The manufacturer states that the remaining accessories are bought separately. Foundation is by ground anchor (index 180) or concrete-in anchor (index 3091), and the head joins the column through a mounting adapter (index 1259). None of them is in the box, so ordering the column alone is not enough to install it.

How it lights

The luminaire draws 8.7 W and delivers 1161 lm, which is 133.4 lm/W. The light is 4000 K, neutral white with no yellow cast, the usual choice for footpaths and driveways.

Distribution comes from a Ledil SCL lens with an IESNA type II / III characteristic — the output is thrown along the route rather than evenly around the column, so one column lights a stretch of path rather than a circle around itself. The ULOR figure is 0%, meaning the luminaire emits no light above the horizontal.

Control and wiring

The electronic DALI outdoor driver is built in and arrives programmed to maximum current. The luminaire supports DALI2 control and the NightDim function; changing the remaining programming parameters is, according to the manufacturer, subject to arrangement with its own sales department.

The terminals accept conductors up to 5 × 4 mm², and loop-through wiring up to 5 × 2.5 mm², so several columns can be fed from one cable run. The luminaire is protection class I and needs a protective earth conductor. The LED module and the control gear are replaceable, but only by a professional service — they are not user-changeable parts.
