Trysil 1062AL is a complete 300 cm LED lighting pole: a straight extruded-aluminium profile that bends at an angle near the top into a horizontal head shining downwards through a clear, textured polycarbonate diffuser. The pole and head are powder-coated in light grey RAL 9006, a light grey. The LED modules and DALI driver are built in, so no lamp is needed.

Dimensions, foundation and wiring

Including the arm, the pole takes up a 71 × 24 cm footprint and its base is 180 mm wide. The luminaire weighs 19.2 kg and ships in a 44 × 38 × 232 cm carton of 21.4 kg gross. The pole is installed according to the instructions supplied with it; all other mounting accessories are sold separately.

The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm² and loop-through wiring up to 5 × 2.5 mm², so several poles can share one supply line. The luminaire is protection class I and must be connected to a protective earth; installation and service are for a qualified electrician.

What light it gives

Two Cree LED modules in the head produce 3128 lm between them; 1973 lm leaves the luminaire at 20 W, i.e. 98.7 lm/W. 3000 K is a warm white, and CRI 80 is typical for area lighting. The light is diffused, hemispherical and directed downwards, and the BUG rating B1-U1-G1 stands for low backlight, uplight and glare.

DALI-2 control

The electronic driver works in a DALI-2 system: the pole is switched and dimmed from a DALI controller or gateway, not from a phase dimmer, which has to be planned together with the installation. The inrush current of 5 A for 50 µs matters when sizing the circuit breaker for several poles on one circuit.

Durability, service and intended use

IP65 lets the pole stand unprotected in rain and snow, and IK10 is the highest impact-resistance class. The luminaire operates from −20 to +45 °C. The LED modules keep 80% of their flux after 102,000 h and 90% after 52,600 h, and the driver is rated for 50,000 h. Only a professional service replaces the LED source and control gear; the spare part is repair kit ZS1086zx0009.

Norlys designed Trysil for private grounds and architectural projects, such as a driveway, a park or the path to a house. The plain, angular form without ornament suits modern, minimalist architecture.
