Outdoor Wall Light NORLYS Lillehammer DC2291CB copper brown LED 7.2 W 2700 K up/down 24 V DC

Lillehammer DC2291CB is an outdoor wall light shaped as an upright rectangular block of cast aluminium, powder-coated in copper brown RAL 8004. The top and bottom faces carry panes of optical safety glass, and behind them two LED modules shine upwards and downwards at the same time. The luminaire runs on 24 V DC low voltage, so it needs a separate power supply to work.

24 V DC supply – what you need to buy

This wall light must not be connected directly to the 230 V mains. The LED modules need an external constant-voltage power supply, which is not included; choosing it and installing the system is a job for a qualified person. The luminaire is protection class III, so it needs no protective earth.

The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², or up to 2 × 1.5 mm² when looped through, so several wall lights can be fed from one line. An EPDM cable gland seals round cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. The LED modules are suitable for dimming; how they are controlled depends on the power supply and the installation design.

What light it gives

Each of the two 3.6 W Cree modules produces a 60° beam, so the wall shows two symmetrical cones, above and below the fitting. The luminaire draws 7.2 W in total and delivers 219 lm from modules rated at 1024 lm in total. It accents masonry and façades rather than lighting a driveway or terrace.

Half of the flux goes upwards (ULOR 50%), which matters where local rules limit light directed at the sky. 2700 K is a warm, slightly yellowish white, and CRI 80 is typical colour rendering for outdoor lighting.

Dimensions, mounting and durability

The body is 18.5 cm high and 8 cm wide and projects 11 cm from the wall. The luminaire weighs 1.66 kg and is fixed through two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm.

IP65 lets the light stay on the wall without any canopy, and IK08 protects it against impacts where it hangs within arm's reach. It operates from −30 to +50 °C. According to TM-21 the modules keep more than 90% of their flux after 52,600 h. Only a professional service replaces the LED modules, using the ZN2291zx0A09 service kit. Norlys intends Lillehammer for lighting walls and façades, and the smooth, unornamented block suits modern, minimalist architecture.
