Lucide PINGI rechargeable outdoor floor lamp taupe IP44, LED 3 W, Ø 33.5 cm

Lucide PINGI in taupe, code 06822/37/41, is a low rechargeable floor lamp that the producer describes for indoor and outdoor use. The braided polyester cylinder is 33.5 cm in diameter and 36.5 cm high. Black is only the round top. That is an accent, not the colour of the whole lamp. The black version of this series has a different code.

Warm white, three steps, 125 lm

The integrated 3 W LED gives 125 lm at 3000 K, with a CRI of 90. There is one colour temperature: the producer does not offer a switch to neutral white. Light leaves the cylinder all round, with a 360° beam. Dimming is on the lamp, in three steps: 10%, 50% and 100%. The source is included and is not a separate replaceable bulb. Its energy class is G. The fitting is protection class III and runs at 5 V.

125 lm will not light a terrace or a living room as the main light. Between the cords it reads as a glow beside a seat, not as a beam for reading or for work at a table.

Battery, USB-C and IP44

Inside is a non-replaceable lithium-ion battery of 4000 mAh. Charging takes 8 hours. The producer’s table gives 5 hours at full brightness, 10 hours at 50% and 48 hours at 10%. A USB-C socket is visible on the black top. IP44 resists water splashes and solid objects larger than 1 mm. It is not protection against immersion or against dust, so this is not a lamp for a wet bathroom zone.

The producer states that the cylinder can be used as a side table or a stool up to 100 kg. At 36.5 cm it is closer to a low table than to a floor lamp the height of an adult. If you put a glass on the top, that surface is part of the lamp, not a separate piece of furniture. On a terrace or in a garden, IP44 covers splashes, not standing the lamp in a puddle.

Taupe braid, fixed height

The shade is taupe inside and out, and the base is taupe too. The shade is braided polyester, the base is PVC, and the finish includes powder coating. The height cannot be adjusted. The producer states a weight of 4.1 kg and does not split net and gross. In the Lucide catalogue the style is Japandi: a plain cylinder, no ornament, with the braid visible instead of a smooth tube.
