Lucide SUENO white glass table lamp with gold base, E14, 17 cm, 45595/01/31

Lucide SUENO 45595/01/31 is a small table lamp with a white frosted-glass shade and a steel base finished in matt gold or brass colour. Vertical grooves and bevelled edges give the shade a more articulated outline than a plain cylinder. The gold accent is at the base; this is not an all-gold glass lamp.

Check the shade width, not just the base

The lamp stands 17 cm high, with an overall diameter specified by Lucide as 13 cm. Its round base measures 7.5 cm across and 2 cm high. Because the glass extends beyond that base, compare your available tabletop or shelf space with the full shade width before choosing a position.

This compact format suits supplementary lighting on a living-room side table, a chest of drawers or a bedside table. Lucide also identifies dining tables and shelves as suitable locations. In an office or study it can provide decorative side lighting, rather than replacing a task lamp with an adjustable arm and a beam directed at paperwork.

Choose an E14 bulb separately

One E14 socket accepts a bulb rated at up to 40 W and is suitable for a compatible replaceable LED bulb. No bulb is supplied. Brightness and colour temperature therefore depend on the light source you choose, while the 40 W figure is the fitting's maximum rating, not its fixed electricity consumption.

The frosted glass distributes light around the shade rather than producing an aimable spotlight. The fitting is not dimmable. Purchasing a dimmable bulb on its own does not add brightness adjustment to the lamp.

Cord switch and contrasting finishes

The plug-in cable is 180 cm long and carries the on/off switch. Check both socket distance and switch access when positioning the lamp. SUENO is intended for indoor use. Its regular glass ribbing and low gold-coloured plinth bring a retro detail to a modern geometric form, with the white shade remaining the dominant surface.
