Lucide TONDO black table lamp, cotton shade Ø30 cm, E27, 48 cm, 45590/81/30

Lucide TONDO 45590/81/30 is a black table lamp with a cylindrical cotton shade and a metal tripod base. The broad shade sits above a slim upright stem, with open space between the three legs below. Its defining features are the textile cover and the geometric support, rather than ornamental detailing.

Allow room for the shade, not just the feet

The lamp stands 48 cm tall. Its shade measures 30 cm in diameter and 18 cm in height, which matters when choosing a console, side table or bedside surface. Check the full shade width against the available tabletop: fitting the three feet onto a narrow surface does not necessarily keep the shade within its edges.

TONDO can provide supplementary light in a living room or bedroom. In an office or study, it can sit on a side surface as an additional lamp, rather than an adjustable task spotlight. There is no articulated arm or directional head. The black cylinder and open tripod suit modern interiors where a fabric-covered source is preferred to an exposed bulb.

One E27 bulb, supplied separately

The fitting takes one E27 bulb, which is not included. Lucide allows an LED light source and specifies a maximum bulb power of 60 W. This is a fitting limit, not a brightness rating or a claim about the lamp's actual electricity consumption with your chosen bulb. The bulb determines the light output and colour temperature.

The documentation describes diffuse light around the lamp. TONDO is non-directional and the fitting is not dimmable, so select a bulb with the brightness you want without assuming there is an adjustment on the lamp. A black shade does not itself specify a warm or cool light colour.

Switching and positioning the cable

The plug-in cable is 180 cm long, with an on/off switch in the cord. When positioning the lamp, check the route to the socket and leave the switch accessible. The height is fixed. Disconnect the power and allow the bulb to cool before replacement, following the manufacturer's manual.
