DILEDA is a surface-mounted aluminium profile in silver anodised finish, 1 m long. This is the extrusion alone — the LED strip, the cover, the end caps and the driver are all bought separately.
Size and how much strip it holds
The outer section measures 27.4 × 26.1 mm and the internal channel 25.0 mm wide by 18.4 mm deep. The manufacturer intends the profile for two LED strips side by side — 25 mm is the figure to compare against the width of your own strip including its adhesive layer, because no separate strip-width limit is published.
The datasheet gives the maximum dissipated power of the LED sources: 29.4 W at a profile temperature of 55 °C and 39.2 W at 65 °C. That is the ceiling on how much strip load the profile carries before the aluminium stops keeping up with the heat.
How it is fixed
The manufacturer lists surface and edge mounting, and the assembly drawings add the suspended version. The profile is screwed down, plugged or taped with double-sided tape; suspension wires and an articulated system are separate articles with their own codes.
The driver sits outside the profile — there is no room for it in the channel, so space and a cable route have to be planned for it. The profile is not sealable and carries IP20, so dry interiors only.
What has to be bought with it
For the silver version the manufacturer lists aluminium end caps 12-0195-10 with a cable hole and 12-0195-11 blind, so one length normally takes one of each. The DOUBLE covers are separate articles — 11-2073-10 clear PMMA, 11-2071-10 milky — and the louvre cover 14-0000-48 cuts glare.
For continuous linear runs the manufacturer publishes connectors: straight 14-3032-02 and angled at 90°, 120° and 135°. Bent DILEDA versions are made only in lacquered finishes, so this anodised profile is straight.
