Mantra KANDANCHU 6512 outdoor wall light, dark grey, 1 × GU10, IP54

Mantra KANDANCHU 6512 is a compact outdoor wall light with a curved front and one downward-facing light opening. Its dark grey RAL 7024 finish covers an aluminium body, with glass protecting the opening underneath. This version takes a single GU10 lamp; it is not the two-light up-and-down version of the collection.

Check the wall space and projection

The body measures 8 cm high, 7 cm wide and 9.5 cm deep. Before choosing a position, compare that projection with the available passage and the swing of nearby doors. It mounts on a vertical surface, including a facade, a balcony or terrace wall, or a suitable part of a fence or garden pavilion.

The manufacturer's outdoor designation is supported by an IP54 rating, which describes protection against limited dust ingress and splashing water. It does not permit immersion or pressure-jet cleaning. The opening underneath establishes the direction of the light, but the reach and spread depend on the lamp you choose. Consider those lamp specifications alongside the intended mounting position.

A separately chosen GU10 LED lamp

No light source is included. The installation instructions specify one GU10 LED lamp rated at no more than 10 W. Choose its colour temperature, lumen output and beam angle separately; the housing does not determine a fixed brightness or light colour. A replaceable lamp also means that the wall fitting can remain in place when its light source later needs changing.

Mantra lists this model as non-dimmable. Its supply rating is 100–240 V at 50/60 Hz, and protection class I requires a protective earth connection. The assembly drawings show the rear mounting plate being fixed to the wall, followed by attachment of the body. Disconnect the electrical supply before installation.

A rounded profile for restrained facades

The unornamented shape and dark grey surface suit modern, minimalist and modernist architecture. Article 6512 identifies this particular dark grey, single-direction version; other finishes and configurations in KANDANCHU have separate article numbers. The manufacturer states a three-year warranty.
