Maytoni Fleur O414FL-01BZ1 garden post light antique bronze E27 113 cm IP44 Promo Code - MAY20 until the end of Oct 31

Maytoni Fleur O414FL-01BZ1 is a garden post light with a head shaped like a traditional lantern. Its antique-bronze aluminium body frames a glass shade, while a moulded roof, curved decorative supports and a flared foot give the fitting its distinctly classical outline.

Plan for the base as well as the lantern

The overall height is 113 cm. Compare that measurement with nearby planting and fencing before deciding where the light should stand. The lantern head is 15 cm wide, but the manufacturer's assembly drawing shows a wider, 22.5 cm base. The head measurement alone is therefore not enough to plan the fixing area.

This is a light for fixing to the ground rather than a portable patio floor lamp. The manufacturer's drawing shows the foot, shaft and lantern assembled above the ground anchorage. When placing it beside a path, allow for the flared foot outside the walking route instead of judging clearance from the slender shaft alone.

Choose the light through an E27 lamp

A single E27 socket accepts a light source rated up to 60 W. That maximum is not a statement of brightness or the actual consumption of every lamp you might fit. Luminous output and colour temperature depend on the suitable light source selected for the socket, rather than a fixed integrated LED module.

Maytoni lists the fitting as non-dimmable. Glass panels remain visible between the ornamental supports, so the appearance of the chosen bulb also matters when the lantern is viewed at close range.

A traditional outline for outdoor routes

The manufacturer's outdoor designation and IP44 rating support use beside a garden path, along a terrace edge or near the approach to a building. The same form can serve hotel gardens and restaurant terraces, without treating a 113 cm garden post as a tall street-lighting column.

The antiqued finish, decorative finial and detailing beneath the roof suit classical, retro and vintage schemes. Fleur is an option when you want the recognisable structure of an old-style lantern instead of a plain, technical-looking bollard.
