MOLDE 1901 is an 80 cm bollard light in powder-coated cast aluminium finished in graphite RAL 7016. The slim profile ends in a curved head, under which sits a cover of clear, structured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate. The footprint is 16.5 x 11 cm.
How it lights
The integrated LED module draws 8 W and delivers 386 lm in warm white 3000 K with a colour rendering of Ra 80. The manufacturer describes the distribution as diffused light covered from the top, and the BUG rating B0-U1-G0 together with a ULOR of 2% says how much of that flux escapes above the fitting — effectively none, so the light stays on the surface instead of reaching windows and sky.
The fitting dims on a TRIAC phase dimmer, on both the trailing edge (TE) and the leading edge (LE) — the figure you need before buying the dimmer itself. The LED module is not user-replaceable: the manufacturer specifies replacement by a professional.
Mounting and what to order with it
It is fixed through four ø7 mm holes spaced 18 x 50 mm, and whatever it stands on is a separate order line. Norlys publishes a concreting anchor 1907, a ground anchor 1908, mounting adapters 3090, 3081 and 1906, and an adapter for a concrete foundation 1909.
The terminals take up to 3 x 2.5 mm², and the manufacturer allows further fittings to be looped through with up to 3 x 1.5 mm² in a round cable of 6-10 mm diameter. A row along a driveway can therefore run off one supply line rather than one per fitting. The luminaire is protection class I, so it needs an earth conductor.
Material and durability
The manufacturer covers the powder-coated aluminium casting with a 25-year anti-corrosion warranty and the whole fitting with five years. IP54 means limited dust protection and resistance to splashing water from any direction, and IK07 means impact resistance up to 2 J. The luminaire weighs 2 kg net and 2.39 kg gross, and the carton measures 82 x 17 x 12 cm.
