NORLYS Asker 1309AL aluminium-coloured LED bollard 55 cm 2700K

The NORLYS Asker 1309AL is a 55 cm LED bollard with a rectangular body and a projecting head. This AL variant has an aluminium-coloured RAL 9006 finish, not a black finish. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium, with a clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate cover beneath the head.

A low light source directed towards the ground

The shielded output points downwards, making this bollard a candidate for garden paths, terrace edges and pedestrian access beside a driveway. It is not a tall pole intended to illuminate a large area from above. Measuring 55 × 20 × 11 cm, the fitting needs a position that leaves the walking route clear. Compare its body dimensions with the available passage width before fixing the mounting points.

Flat surfaces, a right-angled head and the absence of decorative ornament give Asker a modern, minimalist appearance. The aluminium-coloured finish remains part of the garden design when the light is switched off.

Warm LED light with specific dimming requirements

The integrated LED module produces warm 2700 K light. The complete luminaire delivers 525 lm while drawing 7.2 W. The separate 992 lm figure refers to the light source, not the light leaving the assembled fitting. Use the luminaire output when comparing brightness with other bollards. Spacing should follow the lighting design and distribution rather than an assumption that any distance between fittings will provide continuous illumination.

Dimming uses Trailing Edge phase control. Check that the chosen dimmer supports this method before planning the controls. No conventional bulb needs to be selected: the LED module is already part of the fitting. The manufacturer specifies professional servicing for replacement of the LED source.

Mounting hardware and supply

Asker requires a 220–240 V supply and is a Class I fitting. Its mounting arrangement has four ø8 mm holes at 18 × 50 mm centres. Anchors and other mounting accessories are purchased separately, so select them to suit the installation surface. The official documentation confirms IP65 protection and IK10 impact resistance. A silicone seal and an EPDM cable gland form part of the construction.
