Norlys Astrid 2209GB LED garden bollard 85 cm beige grey 4000 K DALI2

Norlys Astrid 2209GB is an 85 cm outdoor LED bollard made from a powder-coated aluminium profile in beige grey RAL 7006. Vertical ribs run along its square body, with a milky PMMA diffuser behind the upper part of the ribbed screen. The light-emitting area is integrated into the column rather than carried by a separate arm or an exposed globe.

Planning its position beside a path

The footprint measures 14 × 14 cm. Compare the bollard height with nearby planting and check the available mounting surface against the base dimensions before choosing a position. Along a garden path, terrace edge or driveway, place the fixture outside walking and vehicle manoeuvring routes. Its 85 cm height suits lighting close to the surrounding landscape rather than the role of a tall street lantern.

The repeated vertical lines and absence of ornamental arms make it a considered match for modern or minimalist architecture. The muted beige-grey finish also works with Scandinavian exterior design. This is the GB finish, not the black or graphite version of the Astrid family.

4000 K light with DALI2 control

The built-in LED module provides neutral white light at 4000 K. The complete luminaire delivers 271 lm and draws 10.6 W. When comparing brightness, use that luminaire output rather than the higher flux of the LED module alone: the diffuser and enclosure affect how much light leaves the finished fitting. Norlys specifies a diffuse light distribution.

The electronic driver supports DALI2, so the intended control arrangement needs to be included in the electrical design. Both the LED module and control gear can be replaced by a professional service. This is not a fitting with a conventional screw-in bulb intended for replacement by the user.

Mounting requirements

The supply is 220–240 V, with electrical protection class I, IP65 protection and IK10 impact resistance. Fixing uses three 9 mm holes, spaced at 120° on a 65 mm diameter circle. The anchors and mounting adapters listed by the manufacturer are sold separately. A suitably qualified installer must choose the fixing arrangement for the surface and carry out the installation and electrical connection.
