NORLYS Astrid 2208CB LED garden bollard, copper brown, 85 cm, DALI2

NORLYS Astrid 2208CB is a garden bollard with vertical ribs running along its body and around the upper lighting section. Copper brown RAL 8004 describes the coating on the aluminium body, not a lamp made from copper. A milky PMMA plastic diffuser sits behind the ribbed outer structure.

An 85 cm bollard beside a path or terrace

The fitting stands 85 cm high and measures 14 × 14 cm across. Before choosing its mounting position, compare those dimensions with the available passage width and the distance from the paving edge. This is a fixed, ground-mounted light rather than a portable floor lamp for a living room. It can be planned around a terrace, beside an approach to the house or along the edge of a driveway, while keeping the route itself clear.

The simple outline and repeated vertical divisions suit modern, minimalist and Scandinavian outdoor schemes. The copper-brown version offers a warmer body colour without changing the model or its dimensions.

Diffused light and DALI2 control

The built-in LED module produces warm white light at 3000 K. Output from the complete luminaire is 256 lm: use this figure when comparing finished fittings, rather than the higher output of the bare LED module. The milky diffuser spreads the light, but its presence does not establish a guarantee of completely glare-free illumination.

Total power consumption is 10.6 W, while the LED source itself is rated at 8.02 W. The 2208CB version includes its power supply and uses DALI2 control, so the control arrangement should be planned around that system. Both the LED module and control gear are replaceable by a professional service technician, not by unscrewing an ordinary bulb.

Mounting surface and separate accessories

The powder-coated aluminium profile has IP65 protection and an IK10 impact rating. Fixing uses three 9 mm holes on a 65 mm bolt circle. The instructions show installation on concrete or wood. Suitable anchors and adapters are sold separately, and mounting screws are not included in the set. Connection to the 220–240 V supply and servicing require an appropriately qualified installer.
