NORLYS Astrid 2226GR LED garden bollard – graphite, 85 cm, 4000 K

NORLYS Astrid 2226GR is an LED garden bollard with a vertically ribbed body and light visible between the ribs in its upper section. Its powder-coated aluminium profile has a graphite RAL 7016 finish, while a milky PMMA diffuser disperses light from the built-in LED module. This is the 85 cm version with neutral-white 4000 K light.

Planning its position beside a path

The body has a 14 × 14 cm footprint. Compare that outline with the space available beside a garden path, driveway or terrace edge before choosing the mounting position. The bollard is fixed to a supporting surface rather than simply placed in the garden like a portable floor lamp. Leave the space needed for walking and vehicle manoeuvres clear.

The vertical ribs and compact, straightforward form suit modern, minimalist and Scandinavian outdoor schemes. Graphite describes the metal finish, not the colour of the emitted light. The manufacturer also identifies landscaped courtyards and public outdoor spaces as settings for the series.

Light output and brightness control

The complete luminaire delivers 377 lm while consuming 14.6 W. This is the output leaving the fitting, not the higher output of the LED module itself. When planning path lighting, consider the diffused distribution and the requirements of the actual site rather than deciding spacing from wattage alone.

Brightness can be adjusted using a compatible TRIAC phase dimmer with leading-edge or trailing-edge control. The LED source is part of the fitting. The instructions permit replacement by the manufacturer, its service agent or an appropriately qualified professional; it is not an ordinary user-replaceable bulb.

Mounting requirements

The fitting requires a 220–240 V supply. Three 9 mm mounting holes are positioned at 120° intervals on a 65 mm diameter circle. Mounting screws and installation accessories must be selected separately to suit the supporting surface. Electrical connection and servicing should be carried out by a qualified professional. IP65 ingress protection and an IK10 impact rating support outdoor installation in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
