NORLYS Astrid 2219BL LED garden bollard 3000K TRIAC, black, 55 cm

NORLYS Astrid 2219BL is a garden bollard with a vertically ribbed aluminium body and a milky PMMA diffuser in its upper section. The BL version has a black powder-coated finish on its aluminium body. Its height of 55 cm and footprint of 14 × 14 cm give you dimensions to compare with planting and the space beside your paving.

Diffused light and TRIAC control

The integrated LED module produces light at 3000 K, a warm, slightly yellowish white. The complete fitting delivers 272 lm, distributed through the milky diffuser. It lights the area around the bollard rather than concentrating a narrow beam on one spot. This is the light output leaving the fitting, the relevant figure when comparing the brightness of different bollards.

The fitting draws 14.6 W and includes a driver. Brightness can be adjusted through TRIAC phase dimming using either trailing edge (TE) or leading edge (LE) control. The installer should select a dimmer compatible with this method of regulation when planning the electrical installation. Both the LED module and control gear can be replaced by a professional service technician. This is an integrated light source rather than an ordinary bulb intended for the owner to change.

Positioning beside terraces and driveways

The regular ribs and simple outline support a modern, minimalist and Scandinavian style. The bollard is intended for outdoor use in gardens, beside terraces, driveways or street routes. Its diffused light reaches the area surrounding the body, which helps when positioning it in relation to paths and planting.

IP65 provides protection against dust and water jets, making the rating appropriate for an exposed outdoor installation. The body is an extruded, powder-coated aluminium profile. The milky section that transmits the light is made from PMMA plastic.

Base, wiring and mounting accessories

The base is secured through three 9 mm holes spaced at 120° on a 65 mm circle. Anchors and mounting adapters are sold separately, so the fixing arrangement needs to suit the prepared surface. Installation and servicing require a suitably qualified person. As a class I fitting, it requires a protective earth connection.
