Norlys Lillehammer 2274AL wall light, light grey RAL 9006, 3000 K LED, 4° downward, DALI2

Norlys Lillehammer 2274AL is a light grey RAL 9006 outdoor wall light with a rectangular powder-coated cast aluminium body. Its narrow beam has a 4° beam angle and points downward to create an accent on the wall surface below the fitting.

A narrow accent below the fitting

The included LED source produces warm white light at 3000 K. The manufacturer specifies 15 lm for the complete fitting, so its accent light needs to be supplemented with general lighting at a walkway or entrance. When selecting a position, allow for the surface below the fitting that receives the narrow beam.

The manufacturer specifies this light for walls, façades and other architectural schemes. Before deciding the mounting height, compare its light direction with the position of a plinth, recess or other façade features. A single-sided 4° downward distribution defines the 2274AL version, so check each model’s light direction when planning a group of wall lights.

Dimensions and finish

The housing measures 18.5 cm high, 8 cm wide and 11 cm deep. Compare these dimensions with the width of a pillar and the available section of façade before preparing the fixing holes. The two 5 mm fixing holes are spaced 45 × 130 mm apart.

The body is powder-coated cast aluminium with clear safety glass covers. A silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland complete the construction. Its plain, unadorned form suits modern and minimalist architecture, while IP65 provides protection against dust and water jets when the fitting is correctly installed.

Control and electrical preparation

The complete fitting consumes 4.5 W and includes an electronic driver with DALI2 control. Adjusting the light requires the installation and control devices to be planned for that system. This matters when selecting the fitting for an existing lighting control installation.

No separate LED source needs to be purchased; a professional service technician replaces the LED source and control gear. Class I requires a protective earth conductor, and installation must be carried out by a qualified installer. The instructions require the original Norlys seal to be pierced by a cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter, which needs to be considered when preparing the connection.
