NORLYS Lillehammer 2281WH white LED outdoor wall light

NORLYS Lillehammer 2281WH is a white outdoor wall light with upward and downward light distribution. Its slim rectangular body is made from cast aluminium with a powder-coated RAL 9003 finish. Clear safety glass covers the light openings, rather than an opal shade that glows across its entire surface.

Two beams for a vertical wall

The 2281 version produces a 60° beam above the fitting and another 60° beam below it. This arrangement can highlight a section of façade, a wall beside an entrance or a terrace wall. Leave space above and below the mounting position so that both beams can reach the surrounding surface. With no decorative arms or exposed bulb, the restrained rectangular form suits modern, minimalist and Scandinavian architectural settings.

The integrated LED module provides neutral white light at 4000 K. The complete luminaire delivers 115 lm, which must not be confused with the LED source output of 1008 lm. When planning lighting for an entrance or a larger outdoor area, use the luminaire output and its directional distribution rather than the higher source figure alone.

Size and outdoor construction

The housing measures 18.5 cm high, 11 cm wide and 8 cm deep. Check these dimensions against the available wall area and cable position before installation. Its IP65 rating means protection against dust ingress and water jets. The construction also includes a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland.

Power, control and servicing

The light consumes 7.3 W and operates on a 220–240 V supply. It includes electronic control gear and DALI2 control; compatibility with the planned control installation should be checked before purchase. A qualified installer should mount and connect the fitting in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Both the LED module and the control gear are replaceable by a professional service, rather than being intended for routine replacement like a conventional bulb.
