The LONDON BIG 4125BL is a classic-style Norlys garden lantern: a square lantern with a pyramid roof set on a post with decorative arms, all in cast aluminium powder-coated black (RAL 9005). Both parts come in the set — the luminaire (art. 4113) and the telescopic lighting pole (art. 3010).
Height and installation
The telescopic pole adjusts between 120 and 220 cm, and at full extension the whole lantern stands 276 cm tall; the lantern itself measures 32 × 32 cm. The height is therefore set on site. The base fixes through three ø10.5 mm holes at 120° on a ø240 mm circle; ground-mounting parts are ordered separately.
The terminals take conductors up to 4 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next lantern at the same cross-section, with round cable of 7–12.5 mm. The lantern is protection class II, so it needs no protective earth conductor.
What light it gives
The light source is an integrated 17.5 W Philips Fortimo LED module giving 4000 K neutral white light at CRI 80. The module generates 1950 lm and 1392 lm leave the lantern (79.5 lm/W). Despite the classic glazed form, the upward light ratio (ULOR) is 0%, so the lantern does not shine into the sky.
Durability and servicing
IP54 protection means it is protected against splashing water from all sides, so the lantern can stand in the garden without cover; impact resistance is IK07. The LED module is not user-replaceable but can be replaced by a professional service, and Norlys states an L70 lifetime of over 50,000 h.
The same set is available in white (4125WH) and in a 3000 K warm white version (4124).
