London Big 4127WH LED garden lantern on telescopic pole up to 279 cm, 14.6 W, 4000 K, white RAL 9003 – NORLYS

London Big 4127WH is a complete English-style garden lantern: a square lantern head 30 cm across with a pitched cap and glazing bars, set on a telescopic pole with a decorative crossbar and a flared base. Head and pole are cast aluminium, powder-coated white (RAL 9003). The set contains the luminaire art. 4115 and the pole art. 3010.

Height and installation

The pole is telescopic, so the overall height of the lantern can be set anywhere from 191 to 279 cm. The lower setting suits a path or flower bed, the higher one an avenue or driveway where the light needs to cover a wider strip. The base is fixed with three bolts through ø10.5 mm holes spaced 120° apart on a ø240 mm circle. The foundation and other mounting accessories are ordered separately.

The terminals take conductors up to 4 × 2.5 mm² and allow further lanterns to be looped through, so a row of poles along a path runs from one supply line. The cable gland accepts round-sheathed cable 7–12.5 mm in diameter.

How much light and what kind

The lantern runs on an integrated Philips Fortimo LED module, included in the set, at 4000 K, a neutral white under which paving and path edges stay clearly visible. The luminaire draws 14.6 W and delivers 1767 lm, enough to light a path rather than just mark it. The Ledil VSM lens spreads the light symmetrically around the pole (IESNA type V), and ULOR 0% means no light goes up into the sky or into windows above. Ra 70 is adequate for area lighting, though it renders plant colours less faithfully than sources at Ra 80 and above. The lantern is not dimmable; it is switched by a wall switch, timer or dusk sensor.

Durability and servicing

IP54 lets the lantern stay outdoors unsheltered all year, impact resistance is IK07, and protection class II means it needs no earth conductor. The LED module (L90B10 over 100,000 h) and the driver (100,000 h) are replaceable by a professional, so a failed light source does not mean replacing the whole lantern. The manufacturer intends it for gardens, parks and terraces and for hotel and restaurant entrances.
