Molde DC1901CB is an 80 cm LED garden bollard with a narrow rectangular body ending in a curved head that projects forward. The housing is cast aluminium powder-coated in copper brown, RAL 8004, and the diffuser is clear, textured UV-stabilised polycarbonate. This version runs on 24 V DC.
24 V DC supply — what else you need
The bollard does not connect directly to 230 V mains: it needs an external voltage-stabilised power supply, which is not included. The maker states that choosing the supply and installing it is work for a qualified person. It is a protection class III fitting, running on safety extra-low voltage. The LED module is suitable for dimming — how it is controlled depends on the design and the chosen supply.
The terminals take cable up to 4 × 4 mm² and up to 2 × 4 mm² for loop-through, so several bollards can share one line from the supply. The gland takes cable from 5 to 12 mm in diameter.
What light it gives
Two LED modules totalling 7.2 W produce 1064 lm, and 505 lm leaves the fitting. 3000 K is a warm white. The head shields the light from above — ULOR is 2.19% and the BUG rating B0-U1-G0 — so it falls on the path and its edges, not into the sky. The modules and gear are replaced by a professional service; the maker states L80 over 102,000 h and L90 over 52,600 h.
Mounting and placement
The bollard weighs 2 kg and fixes through four ø7 mm holes spaced 18 × 50 mm. No anchor is included; sold separately are the 1907 concrete-in anchor, the 1908 ground anchor, the 1909GA concrete-foundation adapter and the 3081, 3090GA and 1906 mounting adapters. IP54 lets it stand outdoors, and the IK07 rating protects it against a light knock. The maker intends it for private grounds — garden, terrace, driveway — and it is also assigned to street lighting. The Molde range also has the 230 V version 1901.
