Outdoor Ceiling Light SU-MA Adela Silver E27 60W 8003 AL

SU-MA Adela 8003 AL is a silver ceiling light for covered outdoor spaces. Its rectangular cast-aluminium body ends in a clear glass panel underneath. A single E27 socket lets you choose a suitable bulb rather than committing to the light colour of an integrated LED module.

Allow for the body below the ceiling

The fitting is 21 cm high with a square footprint measuring 12 × 12 cm. It mounts directly against the ceiling, without a hanging cable or a separately suspended shade. Compare that projection with the available headroom and the swing of nearby doors before deciding where to install it. These overall measurements are not the dimensions of the space available for the bulb.

The manufacturer identifies positions beneath balconies, canopies and garden gazebos as suitable uses. A covered terrace or balcony is therefore a relevant setting when ceiling-mounted light is preferable to a wall fitting. Its IP54 rating provides protection against harmful dust ingress and splashing water. It does not make the light suitable for submersion.

Check bulb height as well as the cap

The E27 socket accepts one light source rated at up to 60 W. This is the fitting's maximum bulb rating, not the consumption of every bulb used in it. A compatible LED bulb allows brightness and colour temperature to be chosen for the location. There is also a physical restriction: the bulb must be no taller than 11.5 cm. An E27 cap alone does not establish that a bulb will fit.

The clear lower panel is not an opal diffuser, so the chosen bulb also affects the appearance of the light. The installation drawing shows access by unscrewing the lower frame. Isolate the electrical supply before installation or replacement; the fitting requires a protective earth connection.

A geometric silver finish

The powder-coated surface has a semi-matt texture. Straight sides without decorative arms support a modern, minimalist exterior scheme. Code 8003 AL identifies the silver version of the Adela family rather than its other finishes. The manufacturer provides a three-year warranty subject to its published terms.
