Ideal Lux Giove AP1 Bianco 092195 is a white outdoor wall light with a broad, gently curved front. Its powder-coated die-cast aluminium housing is closed at the top and bottom by frosted tempered-glass panels. Light leaves both sides of the horizontal body, while the solid front remains a continuous visual element against the wall.
A low horizontal body with two-sided light
The fitting is 33 cm long and 8 cm high, projecting 10 cm from the mounting surface. Compare those measurements with the available section of façade and the clearance around nearby doors or railings before installation. Its footprint is elongated rather than circular, so a diameter would not describe the space it needs.
The upper and lower glazing allows light to reach the wall above and below the fitting. This arrangement can be used on façades, terrace or balcony walls, and suitable solid sections of fencing or garden shelters. The IP54 rating supports outdoor use; it does not permit immersion or cleaning with a jet of water.
One E27 bulb, supplied separately
Giove takes one E27 bulb rated at no more than 60 W. No bulb is included, so brightness and colour temperature depend on the source you choose rather than on a fixed LED module. A lit product photograph should not be taken as a promise of one particular light colour or output. The manufacturer lists the fitting as non-dimmable, so do not select it on the assumption that brightness adjustment is supported.
White aluminium and electrical installation
The uninterrupted front, restrained curve and absence of decorative details suit modern, modernist and minimalist architecture. White gives less contrast against a pale wall and a more distinct outline against a dark surface. The light operates on 220–240 V AC and is a Class I fitting requiring a protective-earth connection. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician following the manufacturer's instructions.
