Pole-top luminaire VISBY 6017GR 49W 4000K graphite RAL 7016 - NORLYS

VISBY 6017GR is a pole-top lantern head cast in aluminium and powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016. A clear PMMA cylinder is divided by horizontal rings, with a flat, wide roof on top. No pole is included — the head is made for an existing mast with a 60 mm spigot.

How big it is and how it is mounted

The manufacturer's drawing gives a height of 46 cm and a roof diameter of 62 cm. The roof therefore reaches about 31 cm out from the pole axis — the clearance to keep where a facade, a hedge or the edge of a driveway runs close by.

The head slides onto a 60 mm pole spigot. It is connected with a factory-fitted H05VV-F 3G1 cable, 4.5 m long, run inside the pole to a junction box chosen for the mast. Reducer 3070 and mounting adapter 154 are sold separately — they are ordered when the pole has a different diameter or a different fixing. The Visby 6013 roof is included. The head weighs 7.35 kg (8.99 kg packed), which the pole has to carry.

How much light it gives

Two integrated LED modules sit inside: the upper one gives 3000 lm aimed at the roof, the lower one 2000 lm directed downwards. The wiring can be run so that both modules light, only the upper one (indirect, softer light) or only the lower one (direct light onto the ground). An old 60 W bulb gave about 800 lm, so even one module lights a path or the area around the pole rather than a single table. With both modules on, the luminaire draws 49 W (upper 30.4 W, lower 18.8 W).

4000 K is neutral white with no yellow cast. CRI 80 is enough to tell colours apart outdoors. The luminaire is not dimmable. The LED modules are included, and the manufacturer specifies that a qualified person replaces them.

Where it can be used

IP65 means protection against dust and water jets, so the head works in the open without shelter, at temperatures from −20 to +45 °C. Protection class I requires an earth conductor, and the diffuser is sealed with silicone.

The head is intended for gardens and parks, terraces and along driveways — places where a lantern stands beside a footpath or a drive. The flat roof over a plain cylinder gives it a Scandinavian look.
